Science First - For Early Learners
Science First – For Early Learners is a new activity area within the gallery for children ages 0 – 5 and their families. Science First will offer age appropriate hands-on activities focusing on themes such as sorting, building, magnetism, and sensory exploration. Science First was developed to expose our youngest visitors to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts. New activities will be added on a regular basis to provide different experiences.
Science First Fridays is a special time set aside for early learners to be in the gallery exclusively. Science First is open any time the gallery is open (Monday – Thursday, 12:00 – 7:00 p.m.; Friday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). And on Friday mornings, we offer an EXCLUSIVE hour in the gallery from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for children birth to 5-years-old and their families. Explore and discover with hands-on activities especially designed for early learners. Regular admission rates will apply; members admitted free!
