It is that time of year again. Register for our fall clubs and workshops. This school year we promise will be BETTER than EVER! With several new programs and open to more ages, we are sure to have what you want!

Preschool Discovery Hour is our only program that doesn’t require registration. However, we do offer a 6-session punch card, for the price of 5 sessions. For $35, you can choose what sessions you want your child to come to. Each week offers activities and games designed for children ages 3 years through Kindergarten. Bring your favorite adult on Saturdays, from 10:30-11:30. More details available here.

Science Discovery Club (grades 1-3, on Mondays from 5:15-6:15) and Young Scientists Club (grades 4-6, on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:15) are weekly meetings of fun and new hands-on science activities. Our theme this year is Physical Science. Hurry and sign up! Space is limited.

NEW! Lego Club meets on Thursdays from 4:30-6:00. An hour and a half of exploration with your favorite building blocks will prove to be an exciting and new learning experience. Towards the end, Lego Robotics will be introduced. Space is limited. If you are in Grades 5-8, sign up here.

NEW! Science on Stage, for grades 6-9, is a troupe where science meets theatre! Learn dramatic principles; build self-confidence, all while expanding hands-on science knowledge. Meetings will be held on Mondays from 5:00-6:30, with performances scheduled throughout the semester. Sign up online.

NEW! Robotics & Design: Part One, funded in part by NASA’s Summer of Innovation mini-grant, this workshop, for students in grades 6-9, centers on the engineering design process and how humans can envision, develop and build robots to help us in our work. Space is limited to 20 students per day.

NEW! Robotics & Design: Part TwoThe main focus for this workshop is exploring the creation of robots using Lego Mindstorm kits. By building with Legos, students in grades 6-9 will learn how humans can use this tool to help develop ideas in robotic design for the future. Space is limited.
